Install Apache/Httpd


For PHP 5

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install apache2 libapache2-mod-php5

For PHP 7 (Ubuntu 16.04> and Debian 9>)

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install apache2 libapache2-mod-php7.0
$ sudo phpenmod kopano




$ sudo yum install install httpd




SUSE already comes with a preinstalled apache server we only need to enable additional add-ons


Enable the module version


$ sudo a2enmod version

Depending on the SUSE version one of the following php versions should be enabled


$ sudo a2enmod php5
$ sudo a2enmod php
$ sudo a2enmod php7



Install WebApp


Add the following lines to the earlier create kopano.list in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/

Take note that the following is an example for Debian 8. Adjust them according to your specific distribution if needed, such as Ubuntu_16.04

# WebApp
deb https://serial:<INSERT_SERIALKEY>@download.kopano.io/supported/webapp:/final/Debian_8.0/ ./ 

If not already done for core add our key aswell

$ sudo curl https://serial:<INSERT_SERIALKEY>@download.kopano.io/supported/webapp:/final/Debian_8.0/Release.key | apt-key add -


Now install kopano-Webapp

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install kopano-webapp



Add the following lines to the earlier create kopano.repo in /etc/yum.repos.d/

Take note that the following is an example for RHEL 7 and CentOS 7. Adjust them according to your specific distribution if needed

name=Final repository for Kopano-WebApp (RHEL_7) 
type=rpm-md 
baseurl=https://serial:<INSERT_SERIALKEY>@download.kopano.io/supported/webapp:/final/RHEL_7/
gpgcheck=0
gpgkey=https://serial:<INSERT_SERIALKEY>@download.kopano.io/supported/webapp:/final/RHEL_7/repodata/repomd.xml.key
enabled=1 


$ sudo yum update
$ sudo yum install kopano-webapp



Add the following lines to the earlier create kopano.repo in /etc/zypp/repos.d/

Take note that the following is an example for SLE 12. Adjust them according to your specific distribution if needed.

enabled=1
autorefresh=0
baseurl=https://serial:<INSERT_SERIALKEY>@download.kopano.io/supported/webapp:/final/SLE_12/
gpgcheck=0
gpgkey=https://serial:<INSERT_SERIALKEY>@download.kopano.io/supported/webapp:/final/SLE_12/repodata/repomd.xml.key
type=rpm-md 


$ sudo zypper update
$ sudo  zypper install kopano-webapp


The WebApp repository contains additional plugins for the full list check our repository (https://download.kopano.io/supported/webapp:/final/Ubuntu_16.04/all/)


We need to reload Apache/Httpd in order to enable the WebApp site.




$ sudo service apache2 reload

Or use systemd

$ sudo systemctl reload apache2

Please make sure that apache2 is enabled with systemd on startup

$ sudo systemctl enable apache2




$ sudo service httpd reload

or use systemd

$ sudo systemctl reload httpd




systemctl reload apache2




Since WebApp 3.4.0 secure cookies are enabled by default this means that you can't access the WebApp without ssl certificates.

This can be turned off by enabling insecure cookies in /etc/kopano/webapp/config.php

 define("INSECURE_COOKIES", True);



Please make sure the web server is enabled on system startup.

It can be enabled using systemctl enable, for example

$ sudo systemctl enable apache2


Go to the url/IP of your Webapp server and you should see the WebApp login page
